Our Creative Hub runs beginner, intermediate, and advanced sewing courses throughout the year. We also host arts and crafts workshops, small business starter courses, and other programmes to help people express their creativity and learn new skills. These courses have helped many of our students earn extra income and some have even gone on to start their own businesses.

Our sewing courses cover a wide range of topics including:

operating domestic sewing machines and overlockers
working with different fabrics and stitches
using patterns to make garments
operating industrial sewing machines and overlockers
repairing and altering garments

Course dates align with primary/secondary school terms and spaces are often limited so if you’re interested in joining, please send us a message before the start of the upcoming term to secure your place.

Kohna Zari Ko (turning old to gold) is an initiative that aims to reduce textile waste by promoting sustainable practices such as repairing and recycling.

We run several clothing repair pop-ups throughout Auckland where we provide clothing repairs and alterations to the general public. We offer these services free of charge. Donations are encouraged if you’d like to support our work.

We run several repair cafes throughout Auckland where we provide clothing repairs and alterations to the general public.
